Hi Kavey, enjoyed reading your profile. Shame it's come now because as you know you are on my list of people for my monthly interviews & I'd intended to ask you for June! No problems, I'll leave it a little longer if that's OK.
Thanks again for sending me the Diddle Dee jam, fabulous. I will be posting about it soon. In the meantime, my mother-in-law and myself are now truly addicted to your Apple & Sultana chutney which you also kindly added as an extra. Any chance of the recipe, please. I'd love to make some for my MIL before she gets back to spain for the summer. She'll be delighted.
That was a lovely little "window" into Kavey Eats, and a nice interview, too! I think it's a sign of health--both mental as well as physical--that you tend to "forget" the "crap" meals. Brava! Forge on and eat well and remember the nice things and report on them. And I so totally agree about the fixed-price menus with supplemental charges, turning the whole affair into a non-fixed-price meal. Some restaurants must really feel its patrons are idiots to put up with such nonsense.
Fans of Indian cooking may like to visit Mamta's Kitchen, a family cookbook on the web. Mamta is my lovely mum and provides most of the recipes (with many also kindly provided by family, friends and readers). Pete (my husband) and I created and maintain the site.
